Julie

In her early involvement with horses, Julie was introduced to the benefits of the human-animal bond both from the benefits it gave her and what she saw it give participants involved in Riding for the Disabled. Julie rode, competed and taught riding for a number of years while establishing a career as a professional equestrian photographer.

When the COVID-19 pandemic stopped all the equestrian events, Julie completed a Certificate IV in Disability Support and has worked with Recovery Options for over 4 years. In 2022 she completed the Equine Facilitated Learning course Level One. In 2024, Julie completed a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance. Chiron Support has developed from there. Mission

Chiron Support is hosted on a beautiful property in the Warburton Valley 60 kms from Melbourne. We have combined the natural beauty of the site with a crew of charming animals. We endeavour to help you with ongoing capacity building and developing skills of independence and self-esteem. Providing 1-1 support we can tailor a program that suits your needs.

Vision

We believe that nature and animals are fundamental to a healthy lifestyle. The human-animal bond has been shown to offer significate benefits to support mental health and emotional wellbeing. Engaging with the animals can help develop positive behaviours and new ways to effectively manage your emotions so you can feel more confident and independent. Our mission is to help clients achieve their short and long-term goals while having fun. Learn more about our program by contacting us.
